The 365 Project

March 11th, 2009 § 3

The 365 project, like all internet wonders, is unique and simple. Take a photo a day and share it with the world for one year. Taylor McKnight invented the project in 2004 but I found a site from a bloke named Jacob Stone, who uploaded a photo a day in 2002. It’s perhaps, more fascinating. Either way, it’s voyuerism at it’s best, with a story or two hidden in.

Went to the library, scoured the photography section. Took so many books home that my arms were sore by the time I put them on the coffee table.

I did the project for a week but then found it a pain or perhaps I was too self-criticial of my photos.

I want to know if you’re doing the project. How do you find it? How do you encourage yourself? How long did you do it for? And finally, what have you learned because of it?

Add a link to your work, I’d love to have a look.

Yours in awe,

Tash
